Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is famous for her roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only child to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up playing lead roles in different television dramas by the time she turned 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also a critically-acclaimed one. The other Oscar nominated movies featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra has been involved in numerous significant international and national productions throughout her career. These projects comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
